Preston's 26th Birthday!!!!!!!!

Preston woke up at 5:oo a.m. to go work out......his new found love. Then came home to a delicious breakfast and then decided to take a nap with his favorite.....no not me............Sophi. I took advantage of the opportunity and got some studying done before we started our day.

These two are inseparable. I bought Preston a card and Sophi begged me to let her sign it. She loves her daddy very much.

Almost Finished......

So, I found these pillows at TjMaxx the other day and thought that this is exactly what our bedroom needs and at only $40.00, who could pass them up. I think the only thing left to do in the bedroom is some picture frames on the wall next to the window and maybe sheer curtains. I was also thinking of replacing our end table lamps.....I think they need to be bigger. Let me know what you think!

I'm trying to make the theme of the bedroom some what nautical but not over doing it. I thought by putting the anchor up would give it that feel. I might also add some stripped pillows. Hmmmmm.......

Whitney and Garrett took us to see the Christmas lights at the Temple in La Jolla.
If only I could go inside....it looks so pretty

Preston thought Daisy would make the perfect Christmas ornament....she didn't

Decorating the tree

This was the fist time Preston and I got to decorate our house. We had so much fun. It was definitely a Griswald Family experience. I can't wait to do it again next year!!!

It was so easy....

WaaLa!!! Now time to work on the rest of the room...huh!

We had to call in the muscles.....P!!!!!

With the help from my mom, we built a new headboard for the master bedroom. It took us about an hour and was very easy and fun. For only $150, it makes our bedroom look so romantic.

Fall 2009....Sorry it took so long!!

I love decorating the house for the holidays. It looks so plain otherwise.
SCARY!!!

This was the wreath I made for the front door. This was my first homemade project I've done in a long time.....I was so proud. Michael's craft store is my new best friend!

Forrest and I about to go under...

The seals sang Happy Birthday!!

The La Jolla Coves

Typical! Brian telling Forrest what to do, and Forrest doing the exact opposite.

Preston arranged for him and I to go snorkling for my birthday, he invited my two brothers and my mom....she chickened out at the last minute. To be honest, I did'nt think I would go through with it either, but once I got there I was calm, cool and collected.
