Preston down under

Forrest and I about to go under...

The seals sang Happy Birthday!!

The La Jolla Coves

Typical! Brian telling Forrest what to do, and Forrest doing the exact opposite.

Preston arranged for him and I to go snorkling for my birthday, he invited my two brothers and my mom....she chickened out at the last minute. To be honest, I did'nt think I would go through with it either, but once I got there I was calm, cool and collected.

We had a blast!!!!

The Happiest Place on Earth

In July, my mom, Forrest, Preston and I all went to disneyland to Celebrate Forrest entering High School. He is growing up so fast. I miss my little cowboy!!

The Beginning of Summer 2009

The family and I all went camping in San Clemente for the weekend. It was a weekend of roasting marsh mellows, playing catch, soaking under the sun, playing games on beach, and sleeping under the stars.

We Spent the Day in La Jolla

Us and a few of our friends went down to La Jolla to hang out, play catch with the football and then grab a bite to eat. We also visited with the seals, there were soooo many. It was such a beautiful day and highly relaxing.

I was scared to death!!!!!! But Preston promised if I made it to the top he would take me out to lunch, so...of course I made sure I got my free lunch.

Then......

Preston and our friend Emily discovered a new hobby....ROCK CLIMBING and he was nice enough to let me tag a long.

The run down for 2009 up until this point....September 8, 2009

The beginning of this year was a little rough but as the summer crept up it got a lot better and has continued to be amazing. First of all, I landed an rewarding job at Vista Knoll Specialized Care, as skilled nursing facility(SNF) as one of their Admissions Coordinator's. This is a facility mainly for the elderly who have had a major surgery or incident and need either physical, occupation, or speech therapy before returning home. We also have a designated unit for Alzheimer's/dementia patients as well as NBU patients......for those of you who don't know what a SNF was. I really enjoy what I do and by having this job, it has helped me realize what I want to do for a living.

My first blog!!!

Ok, I've never had a blog before, but one of my friends from work has one as well as all her family and friends. So, I thought I would give it a shot. Here goes!!!
